When you book a maternity session with me, you’re not just getting photos; you’re getting an experience. I’ll guide you through every step—from choosing a location that reflects your personality to styling tips that ensure you look your best. During the session, I focus on making you feel comfortable and free to be yourself. This allows me to capture natural, authentic moments that reflect your love for your new little one.

The joy, excitement, and anticipation of pregnancy is unmatched. Let’s capture this special, fleeting season with a maternity session. These times are fun, low-key experiences in studio or outdoors with you or you and your partner/family.
01. BOOKING
Say Hello!
Once you fill out the contact form, be sure to keep an eye on your inbox! We’ll confirm a date and chat about your vision for the session. We will also discuss locations to help decide what best fits your family's unique style.
Most sessions are scheduled during the magical golden hour—about an hour and a half before sunset.
Once we’ve discussed all the details, I’ll send you a contract to review and an invoice for the initial retainer.

02. preparing for your session
The day of your session is your time to shine! I am here to assist you in any way you need to prepare, including:
- Styling to help with outfit coordination for the whole family. Along with a helpful checklist to help you stay organized.
- Hair and makeup recommendations, upon request.
- Family questionnaire to help me learn more about everyone in the group.
- Optional planning consultation call where we can discuss the details, get to know each other, and clear up any last-minute questions, during this call I can provide additional 1:1 outfit guidance.
- Clear communication throughout the process.
03. the big day
Picture day is here and it is time for us to turn your vision for your family session into reality. During your session, I will guide you through natural poses & prompts. No need to be shy or nervous! We are here to have fun! I'll be at the location a little earlier than the session time and you let me know when you arrive. First, we will start with the whole group and then move into an assortment of photo combos, starting with your most desired moment, capturing your priority photos first.
04. gallery & photo delivery
After your session, the next step of magic begins. EDITING! This is my favorite part of the process, and it often brings a few happy tears. Each photo is meticulously hand-edited to ensure you receive only the finest, most polished images, free from any distractions. You can expect your full gallery within 2-3 weeks, you'll have access to your fully edited, private digital gallery. I will reach out to you to see if you would like to order any professional prints or products.

This session is perfect for the mama-to-be who is on a budget and doesn't need as many images.

Deluxe Maternity Session
Let’s document your baby bump with plenty of session time and up to 2 locations! Enjoy some time to yourself or with your partner (and/or kiddos) before the baby arrives with one of these fun, easy sessions.

The Classic Combo
When you book this package, I will take photos of your pregnancy and your newborn once they arrive! You’ll get everything that’s included in the “Timeless + True Maternity” above, as well as everything in my “Classic Newborn'' session at a discounted rate. Newborn sessions are typically scheduled for when your child is between 5 days and 2 months old.
Here’s what you’ll get:
- 1 Hour of shooting time for maternity
- 90 minutes of shooting time for newborn
- 2 Locations

FAQ
When is the best time to schedule my maternity session?
As soon as you confirm you are pregnant, feel free to contact me to secure your date. Ideally, the best time to photograph maternity pictures is between 32 to 36 weeks.
Where will the session take place?
Maternity sessions will take place outdoors or in studio. Exact locations will be discussed during your booking process.
What should I wear? What should I bring?
I have some dresses in my client closet, but I suggest you bring any outfits you may have that you want to be photographed in. You may also want to bring a sonogram picture and other sentimental items, such as booties or blocks with your child's name.
Who will be included in the session?
Your husband, wife, or significant other and other children are welcome to be included in your photographs at no additional cost. I would be happy to take some time to do a mini-session of your other children.
